Little About Myself

Hello! I'm Ashley and finally figured out how to work this blogging experience I guess. I'm a junior at RIC this semester and just changed my major to secondary education, with a concentration in social studies and middle school endorsement. I'm pretty excited for school this semester with a new major and everything, but I also know how busy it's going to be.

I'm a little shy when you first me, but once you get to know me I'm really out going :) In my spare time, I dance for the RIC dance company, and also work two jobs. I love to stay busy, and be productive with my time. I love being outside, especially near the beach.  Favorite season is fall between apple crisp, pumpkins and Halloween, I love it all! My favorite color is purple, if you didn't guess. Hmmm what else....I have a dog named Baxter (yes, its my last name and it was NOT  my idea to name him that) but I love him! I'm hoping this class will help introduce the classroom setting to me, and discuss issues that arise in all schools. I'm looking forward to learning new ideas and concepts, and I'm going to keep an open mind!
